The Zionist Organization of America has opened a Northern New Jersey office, located in Hackensack, and named Laura Fein, Esq. as its new Executive Director. This expansion will allow ZOA to educate the Jewish and general public about the Arab war against Israel and the relentless Iranian pursuit of nuclear weapons; to strengthen the US-Israel relationship; to advocate for Israel in the media and in Washington; and to promote and support the ZOA’s Center for Government Relations, the ZOA’s Center for Campus Activities, the ZOA’s office in Jerusalem, and the ZOA’s Center for Law and Justice in its work fighting for rights of victims of terror and combating anti-semitism on college campuses. The office will allow ZOA to serve the needs of NJ residents who wish to get involved on the national level, either by participating in exclusive ZOA calls with American and Israeli political and thought leaders, or by attending ZOA’s national convention, to be held in Philadelphia on March 9-10, or its Mission to Washington on May 21. “Tensions between the US and Israel have reached new heights, and it has never been more important for Israel’s supporters to raise their voices and make their views known. Our leaders—and Israel’s—need to know where we stand,” said Ms. Fein.
